This year the Saturday before Easter we went out to Jessica’s brothers place – Jake & Stephanie’s. They had a family in their community that drops Easter eggs from a plane. I have to say it was pretty cool. They put the kids in age groups, the plane flew by and then kids got to run and grab eggs. The first pass for the youngest kids didn’t quit land where they wanted but they all ran out and had fun. The second pass went almost on the crowd, LOL and finally the third time they landed the eggs right where they wanted them. It was a mad dash to run out and get eggs.

The eggs were taped together and filled with tiny rocks. You turned in your eggs for a bag of goodies. How fun is that? They also had face painting, food & games. Pretty amazing that a family in the community does this.

After the egg drop we went back to Jake & Stephs and had our own egg hunt. The adults hid the eggs and then the kids all ran out to find them. We ate some delicious food. Steph made the most delicious cinnamon rolls I think I’ve ever had. We all had a lot of fun and hope to make it a yearly tradition.
