Came home and saw this little guy right next to our door. A black widow, I don’t recall ever seeing one of these in real life before. He quickly lost his life after this picture.

The kids are earning money this summer by taking turns mowing the lawn, here is Jaelee on her turn. We’ve laughed over how different they mow the lawn. It took Jaelee 20ish times to get the mower started, once the mower starts she takes her time, takes breaks, has to have music. It takes her 45+ minutes. Jayse on the other hand goes out cranks the lawn mower over with one pull, mows in 20+ minutes with no breaks and is done.

The kids have been using a magnifying glass to burn things.

We had a hawk land on a light pole by our house. He has been there a few times since.

Before we got the kids bikes for their birthday I asked Jaelee to try my bike to see if she was big enough for a bike that size. She was and loved it, she ended up riding my bike to school for a few weeks.

For memorial weekend my bff and her boys came down. We ate a lot of BBQ and made smores, didn’t get many pics but here’s a few.
