On our way home I wanted to break it up over 2 days because it’s a 15 hour drive! So we left Saturday morning, when it was already 106 degrees. I was dripping sweat loading up the car. I had made plans for us to stay in Ely, NV which was a 7ish hour drive.

Greg’s parents happened to be in Vegas for a basketball tournament with Braydon so we made a stop there to see them. We didn’t have much time together but glad we got to connect. We met them at the Fashion mall, where a fashion show was going on, kinda fun. After our quick stop there we got back on the road for another 3 1/2 hours.

We made it to Ely and our hotel. I was kinda bummed with the hotel. I had looked for one specifically that had a pool but learned when we got there that the pool was in the same place as the casino, thus it smelt really bad like cigarette smoke. Luckily it didn’t in our room. We decided to skip swimming and grabbed some pizza and watched a movie.

The next morning we were back on the road to home. We were all really excited to see Greg.
