We had our first cheer game in Homedale. It’s a fun field because it’s on the high school field and they have announcers and music.

It was super hot that day. The girls struggled standing their and cheering in the heat. Overall though they did really good for their first game. We had been practicing hard and they did a good job on their cheers.

Jayse was able to stand on the sidelines in his jersey with the team even though he can’t play. This was the first time his team had seen him after his surgery and they all asked how he as doing, patted him on his back or gave him hugs. It is so great to see!

I was proud of the girls for sticking it out and making it through even though it was so hot.
