My work did a trunk or treat this year the Friday before Halloween. The kids didn’t really want to go but I convinced them to go to get candy and treats.

Our tent was pretty awesome, it was pirate themed. Our office had all the props we just had to put it up. I unfortunately was too busy to go out there and help but was going to stay to help put it all away.

The kids made it around pretty quick. They were super bored and driving me crazy. Eventually they went to the truck and sat in it. I called Greg and asked if he could come get the kids when he got off work so they could go home with him. He did come and get them and I was able to help clean up.

I had to rush home because Greg and I had an adults only Halloween party to go to. Jaelee was spending the night at a friends and Jayse was going to spend the night at my brothers. While I was helping clean up Greg ran the kids to where they needed to be.

I got home and changed costumes. I was a pirate during the day but Greg and I were going to be dressed from the 80s for the party.

We had a great time at the party, there were some great costumes. One couple came as #filter #nofilter. Meaning they were wearing matching outfits, the wife was the filtered version and the husband the unfiltered version. It was hilarious, their personalities really made it even better. They of course won the contest. It was fun to be with friends and no kids for a change, dressed up and being goofy.
