For Halloween this year the kids wanted to bring our dog, Arrow. He’s a really good dog so I thought it would be ok. We decided he needed a costume. I cut a bit of fabric hoping he could be a ghost. I got it to work, and he looked so cute but when he started to walk he would step on it and make it fall off or all crooked.

We got a few pictures with him in it but ended up taking it off and putting a BSU t-shirt on him instead.

Jayse this year was obsessed with being a banana, he likes this super annoying song that just says I’m a banana over and over again. He wanted to wear a banana and go around saying that. He ended up adding a weapon to his costume to say he was a Fortnite character. Jaelee was a sorcerous but she didn’t think people would know that so she said she was a vampire. I tried to get her to add vampire teeth and blood but she didn’t want to.

We went to Darin & Jess’s for Halloween this year again. I didn’t walk around with the kids this year because of my ankle and the dog. I ended up keeping the dog with me because I was worried about the kids handling him with all the other kids and possibly other dogs. He did really well and just stayed by me.

Greg was really late meeting up with us. Brady was in town for their hunting adventures and they had gone to a few stores before getting to Darins.

Darin had set up a screen and fire outside, we all hung out, out there while everyone else trick or treated.

He had a spider near his door that would jump out at you as you got close, it was so funny seeing some of the kids. Some kids wouldn’t even go to the door and others came screaming away from it.

The kids trick or treated for hours. Jaelee had brought a friend and we needed to get her home at 9, it was a school night after all. So the girls and I left and Jayse stayed out and trick or treated for a bit longer and then him, Greg & Brady came home a bit later.

It was another great Halloween for the books.
