So our last game we were playing in what they called a bowl game. It wasn’t the championship game but we still wanted to win really bad. We were playing a really good team from Kuna – in fact it was the team Jayse was on the first year he started Optimist before we moved to Boise.

We had a really tough game but played hard. In the end they ended up losing. It was tough, we spent most of the season winning and to lose our last 2 games was hard.

We had a really great time with Optimist and loved all the coaches. It was sad that it ended after all these years. We’ve seen a lot of those boys grow. Hope that Jayse still plays football and continues to play with the school.
