What a weird year because of COVID school started a couple of weeks late. The kids started going to school every other day but that only lasted a couple of weeks before they went to an A/B day. Where everyone stayed home Monday and half the kids went to school on A days – Tuesdays & Thursday and the other half of the school went to school on B Day – Wednesday and Fridays. They divided the kids by their last name. So Jaelee and Jayse were on B days. This was a bummer because some of their friends were on A days so they would never see them. On the days the didn’t got to school they had to do online school which wasn’t much. They didn’t have any instruction from their teachers on those days, they had to check into class and then do the work the teacher posted. We definitely had our struggles with doing online work and getting homework done.

We made it through the rest of the school year like that and had to wear masks the entire time. We all survived and were all glad when it was over.
