Since April Greg, one of his friends and Jayse have been putting bait up in the mountains to lure a bear in. Then they’d go sit up there and hope a bear would come by. Greg put a trail camera he borrowed from Darin up there and for weeks we saw animals but no bear and then finally we saw a few bears! Not just bear but we saw all kinds of animals. Skunks, coyotes, mountain lions, elk, bear and lots of crows. It was pretty cool to see all those animals on the camera.

In the end they didn’t end up getting a bear this year. But they are going to try again next year. I think they learned a lot this year to help improve their chances of getting one next time.
