After riding we got home, dropped the kids off and headed over to Greg’s friends also named Greg to go boating with him and his girlfriend Julie. They had just got a pontoon boat and wanted to take us out to CJ Strike for an afternoon.

We had a nice drive down to the reservoir and a great time on the boat. The guys were catching fish like crazy and Julie and I had a nice time hanging out, talking and enjoying some sun and breeze.

We saw some pelican, I got a few pictures of and on our way home there were a couple of antelope running along the road next to us. We were driving about 35 miles an hour to keep pace with them. It was pretty cool. The whole afternoon was just great.

Greg and I have been talking about getting a boat or a camper and after that afternoon I’m leaning toward team boat….we’ll see!
