We made our annual trip over to Oregon for Labor Day weekend. We left on Wednesday after Jayse got done with practice. We stayed in Bend for the night. We left early Thursday morning to continue our drive.

We stopped in Scottsburg and saw Papa Steve at his Post Office. It was fun to see that little place. We got into Reedsport Thursday afternoon. Right away Greg wanted to go crabbing. He wanted some crab to eat on while we were there. Jaelee, LaRee and I were going to go with but when we got out to the boat launch it was windy and cold. We decided we would skip this time. We did make a quick stop at the beach before heading back to the house.

The beach was windy too but we didn’t stay long. There were so many trees on the beach. I don’t remember ever seeing that many! We made Jaelee pose for a few pictures for us and then we got out of there, back to the nice warm car and then the house. The guys didn’t stay out too long crabbing because they were killing it and got their quota fast.

Then it was time to feast on all those crabbys. I think Greg and Braydon were the only 2 to have some. Not a lot of crab fans in our family.

Our first day was great, I just love visiting family and being there.
