This year I had been asking the kids for a month what they wanted to do for their birthdays. They both just kept saying I don’t know. Finally a couple of weeks before they decided they wanted to just go to Wahooz with some friends. I tried to book Wahooz for a birthday party but it was all sold out and it’s too expensive to just pay for each person. We had to go plan B.

Jaelee decided to do a murder mystery party at our house. We the murder mystery on Amazon, it was an Italian pizza themed one. We thought that was perfect since we went to Italy this year. We bought a bunch of decorations to decorate the house. The day of we decorated and got the house all set up.

Jayse decided to go out to the desert and shoot guns. However, when he invited his friends they almost all couldn’t go because of guns. So they decided to go out by the Snake River and ride the Mule & 4 Wheeler. Greg took Jayse and his friends out there while Jaelee, my mom and I decorated the house for her party.

We ordered a 3 foot Subway sandwich for the boys and grabbed some cup cakes. We kept it simple for them out there. Some of the kids had never driven an ATV in their lives. Our 4 wheeler is a manual so some of them had to learn that quick. They all seemed to have fun and didn’t wan to leave. They ended up playing cops and robbers with them each chasing each other on the 4 wheeler and mule. Glad they had a good time and luckily for next year Jayse has already decided he wants to do paintball.

Jaelee ended up having 10+ kids over it was quit a few. We ordered pizzas of course. We ate our pizza and then started on the murder mystery. It was a little chaotic with everyone trying to talk at once and ask each other questions. Some didn’t seem that into but but overall I think everyone had fun. I had ordered a cake to look like it had blood on it, it turned out really great.

On Sunday we had family over for dinner for the kids birthdays. My mom was here, my brothers and Teaven came over and Darin & Jess came with their kids. We had some delicious food. Hung out on the patio and played croquet. It was a great afternoon.
