The next day we left Amsterdam to go back to Milan. Luckily we didn’t have an early flight we had time to get up slowly and get ready.

We ate some lunch in the airport.

Our flight was delayed and we stood in this room crammed with all these people for an extra hour! I liked the picture they had here, we were just there the day before!

When we got back to Brandi’s I was tired. It had been a long few days of walking. A bunch of them went to the grocery store to get stuff for dinner. I stayed with the kids to just chill. We had some delicious charcuterie boards when they got back.

I loved these little cream cheese cubes. I have looked all over here for them and can’t find anything like it. Bummer. Greg fell in love with the peppers filled with tuna. We can’t find those either but I did find we can order those online.

That night the guys stayed up late drinking. I was sooo tired and just wanted to sleep. They were getting louder and louder. Let’s just say it was not a great night and I didn’t feel like talking with Greg the next day.

The following day we slept in a bit and in the afternoon went down to the Duomo to walk around and look at their Christmas market. It was a great market. We found some good stuff!

No matter how many times you see it, this is an impressive church!

Jaelee picked a clothes pin – which she calls a paper clip for band reasons.

Jaelee and I each got some jewelry from a local artist. I got some earrings and she got this necklace.

We went to a Leonardo di Vinci museum. I didn’t realize how many things he invented and what an engineer he was! Pretty cool. We found some instruments he helped invent. We weren’t supposed to take photos in there but I told Jaelee to hurry and get some.

Since we’d arrived the police presents had grown, we thought it was a good time to head back to Brandi’s.

The kids were tired and wanted to stay at Brandi’s the adults went out for dinner. We walked to a restaurant by their place but it was closed for the Holidays. We ended up walking further to a Chinese restaurant that is delicious. I didn’t feel like Chinese so I got pizza and a seafood pasta. I only ate a piece of the pizza and brought it back for the kids.
