For our 2nd day in Paris we debated whether to do a hop on hop off bus here or just take the metro to the few places we still wanted to see. In the end we chose the later.
Our first stop was Moulin Rouge. It would of been so cool to see a show here but it was not in the cards this trip.
Our 2nd stop was The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris. It was packed around here and was a huge hike up to the top that our tired legs were not ready for. So we observed it from a far.

We made our way to Notre Dame, this building was right outside the metro., Hôtel de Ville is the city hall of Paris. Very beautiful.

Sadly because of the fire at Notre Dame a couple of years ago it was covered on the bottom portion and you can’t tour it. Still a very beautiful building to see.

One of the Metros we were in was pretty cool with all this copper and gears.

After Notre Dame we were pretty tired. We had been walking for a lot of days. We were all ok just going back to our hotel to chill and get some dinner. We were hoping to find something to eat on our way back to our hotel but because it was Jan. 1st a holiday a lot of places were closed.
We ended up going to the Melting Pot by our hotel. It’s a pretty cool place. You can get all kind of food here. Pizza, sandwiches, burgers, pasta and Indian Food. We all ordered our food and took it back to the kids who chose to stay in their rooms.

After eating we hung out downstairs for a bit before heading back to our rooms. We had another early morning. We had to get up at 4 am again to catch our flight back to Milan.
