It was baking season! I made a double batch of my pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. I had a couple of them and then we left to go to Greg’s work Christmas event at the hockey game. Our dog never eats food we leave around so I didn’t even think about putting them away. I had them all cooling on our kitchen table. When we got home that night the dog had at all of them! It was a chaotic night anyway and to come home to that and a dog throwing up later was just not fun. I did made cookies 2 more times after this though so we did get to eat some.

I ran into Kelly who I went to high school with. Found out he is working for Tate’s in Nampa. We had a great time catching up and talking about high school. I hadn’t seen him in 20 years. He looked pretty much the same. He said I looked totally different and he wouldn’t of known me if I hadn’t approached him first. He was back living in Melba and his kids were going to school where we did! Just wild. I talked him into taking a picture with me to send to my girl friends I keep in touch with. Sadly, a month later I found out he passed away from a sudden heart attack! I was so sad to hear that and I hope his kids and family are doing well.

We went to the hockey game for Greg’s work party. It started out great and I was having fun. Greg ended up having a lot to drink. He hadn’t been drinking after his heart attack so I don’t think he can drink as much as he used to and he didn’t realize it and went over board. We ended up getting in a huge fight and escorted out of the game by security. The kid were freaking out and Jaelee started bawling. I couldn’t get Greg to listen or go to the car and I didn’t know what to do. I was crying myself at this point. I called Darin and he was on his way to help us. While he was on his way we finally convinced Greg to walk to the car. I called Darin and he stayed on the phone with me until we were in the car and on our way. Thank you Darin! Greg ended up throwing up out of my car on the free way. I wont go into details but it wasn’t pretty. Let’s just say it was not a great night.

I was taking Jayse shopping to get Jaelee and Christmas present and he fell asleep before we even got out of our neighborhood.

My mom sent everyone flannels for Christmas. Greg and Jayse got matching ones. Greg’s didn’t fit him so he gave it to Jayse and Jayse gave his to Jaelee’s. They ended up wearing them to school on the same day. They looked so cute like twins.

Found Jayse in his room sleeping like this later. Howe, just how can he sleep like that?

We didn’t do lot of our Christmas traditions this year but we did get a puzzle in!
