Pep Band – The Real CHS

Greg and I finally made it to watch Jaelee in pep band. She really wanted us to go to the Real CHS game. It is against Capital (also CHS) and our rivals so they were battling for who gets to call themselves the real CHS. Both schools pep bands were combined into one big band.

I gotta say I don’t love basketball but this game was exciting. They had lights, fog music, competition and a huge fan base! This place was packed.

It is so fun watching Jaelee in her element. She has a great time. Even though most of the time her face looks so serious. She is concentrating hard. She has a lot of fun. They ended up liking some of Capitals songs that they have since incorporated 2 of their songs into their regular rotation.

Even though the game was pretty good and it’s fun watching Jaelee we were ready to go just after half time. It was so crowded, loud and hot in there I was ready to go.

Greg went back and picked Jaelee up when the game was over. She was all smiles. She had a great time!
