Greenbelt Birds

I work by the greenbelt and river I was looking outside one day and saw 3 bald eagles, a bunch of goose and ducks. I told my friend who likes bird photography and we decided to meet up and take photos that weekend of the birds.

We got there at 9 am. We were really lucky that it was sunny. It wasn’t as cold with the sun. We saw a lot of birds but never did see the eagles.

He has a really long lens and was able to get some good pictures of the birds. I don’t have a lens as long so I couldn’t get great photos of the birds. I liked the photos I got of the ice better.

When we went to leave I had locked my keys in the car! Dang it. Luckily we weren’t too far from home and I called Greg to come rescue us. He met us at my work and then we all went to lunch together.

It was a nice day.
