Jaelee had her second Improv Showcase. She had missed the last practice because of drivers ed. She wasn’t sure what skits she’d be in. She was also late to the showcase. They were supposed to be there at 5 but because of Drivers Ed she didn’t get there until 6:40 and the show started at 7. Luckily with improv you could do a lot of preparing but you don’t know what you are going to do until the moment.

The first skit they did was the worst Valentines Date or Gift.

The next skit she was in was the Olympics. They had 3 contestants and a couple announcers. The crowd got to pick the sport and it was tree cutting. The contestants had to act out tree cutting and the announcers had to describe what they were doing.

This was my favorite skit she was in. It was a person who was late for work. Her coworkers were trying to tell her 3 reasons why she was late. They had a boss, the late person and the 3 coworkers. Jaelee was one of the coworkers. The crowd got to pick the reasons for why she was late. The person who was late left the room when they were picking. The coworkers had to act out why she was late and she had to try and guess and tell her boss that was her reason. It was pretty funny. They did great and she was able to get all 3 excuses.

Her last skit was invention. The crowd gives something they invented. The first person describes before or the idea for inventing it. The 2nd describes inventing it and the last person describes after. Jaelee’s group got hair. I didn’t think it was a very good suggestion from the crowd. Not sure how you invent hair. But they did what they could with it.

A few days after this, Brenan asked Jaelee to be his girlfriend. She said yes. He’s the one on the right end in this photo.

She sure has a great time doing this!
