Snively Hot Springs

Jaelee and I went with my friend Amy and her kids and sisters family to a hot springs. I’d never heard of this one or been there before so I was totally up for it. It was in Eastern Oregon, about 1 hour 10 mins from us called Snively Hot Springs.

It was pretty busy and the water wasn’t very deep. It was also very rocky – wish I would of worn my water shoes but it was nice. With our darn weather lately it was crazy windy and cold with snow in-between sun.

Jaelee and the boys wanted to get away from all the people so they went across the river to another pool but I don’t think it was warm or deep enough so that crazy girl of mine swam through the river to get back to the other side and to yet another pool they found. David followed her but Ian and Blake said it was too cold and they took the easy way back and then walked along the bank to get to the pool.

We had a nice time. We brought a lunch with us. Jaelee and I decided it was too cold to eat our lunch outside so we sat in the car and ate. I drove the kids’ car to save on gas….not sure how Greg and I are gonna be able to give that car up – we’ve, mostly him, fallen in love with it. After lunch we didn’t feel like getting back in the hot springs so Jaelee and I made our way home.

In the rocks in the background you can see 2 little heads, this is where the kids ended up.
