It finally happened! We got our house painted. I have hated the yellow the moment we moved in. Greg busted his butt updating the sofit and facia. Jayse was a good helper.

The weekend before it was painted we all helped get it ready. Power washing, moving everything away from the house and general cleaning. It took 2 whole days.

The painters came and painted the whole house in about 8 hours. I love it! Looks so fresh, clean and newer but best of all the faded yellow is gone!

We had them paint the whole house white with black trim and black doors – including the garages.

We are redoing the deck as well in phases like we do everything. First the ceiling and next summer the actual deck. We took off the old plywood celling and left it off while they painted. Greg and Jayse have started to add the black tongue and groove back on but it’s not fully done yet.

This is how our house has looked for years. The white started peeling off the brick so you can see spotches of it.

As we power washed the white just came flying off.

They did the shed too.

Here it is all done with the new gutters on too.

Love it and so excited to have it done. Someday we’ll have new windows and the yard finished but this is a huge step!
