I think I was more excited then the kids about homecoming! I was just so excited for them to experience their first high school dance.

Jaelee was going with her boyfriend Keynan and Jayse with his girlfriend Colby.

Jaelee went dress shopping with a group of her friends, they didn’t find the “dress”. I took Jaelee and Jayse to the mall to look at dresses and get Jayse everything he needed. Jaelee found the dress. I could tell the moment she came out it was the one. She was twirling in it with a big ole smile.

It was very expensive so I wanted to keep looking around. Jaelee didn’t love any dress after that. I decided to get it but told her we’d look again.

I took her and her friends dress shopping another time. She didn’t find anything she liked as much as the one so that’s what we went with. Her best friend also found the one. It was fun shopping with them and hearing them talk and try on dresses.

The day of Jaelee and I went shopping for a few more things. We stopped and got lunch together.

We came back to the house and helped her get ready.

Jayse was going with a group of his friends to the Village for dinner. He was leaving earlier then Jaelee so I got a few pictures of them together before he left.

Jaelee’s boyfriends grandparents came with him to pick her up. They took them to dinner and then the dance.

Both the kids said the dance was eehh. It was hot and kinda boring. Jaelee called me to pick them up after a few hours – it was only 9! Keynan came to our house to hang out for a bit since it was so early.

Jayse said they only stayed at the dance for 30 minutes and then went to Target and hung out.

Overall they both had a good time with friends and dinner but they could of went without the dance.

Jayse got bored while we were shopping so he made himself comfortable.

This kid cracks me up. This is how he was going to roll his sleeves.

I had to run to the Village to get a few pictures of Jayse and Colby after their dinner.
