I work by the river and I’d been seeing some eagles near it as I got to work or was leaving. I tried to get pictures of them with my phone but it wasn’t great so I put my big camera in my car waiting for a chance to see them. My camera had been in my car for a while and I wasn’t seeing them at all.

On a Friday morning I was getting to work and there was a beautiful sunrise. I grabbed my camera and walked to the river to get a picture of it. As I was taking pictures of the sunrises I aw an eagle fly by. I was lucky there were 2 and they flew up into a tree and were perched there. I went back to my car and got my long lens.

I was able to get a few pictures of them. It was really cool because for a while the sky was still pink and colored.

I saw one one more time in the sun and got a few more pictures. Always cool to see these big birds right at my work.

No eagle in this tree but it looked pretty with the fresh snow.
