The kids school had a Sweethearts dance. It’s where the girls ask. While we were in Hawaii Jaelee asked her boyfriend Keynan to go. We only had a couple of weeks to get ready when we got back. She wanted to do a group dated with her friend Leora. Leora had a date and then he backed out – darn that boy. They decided to still go together with a couple of their other girlfriends. Poor Keynan went with a group of girls!

Jaelee didn’t want to go dress shopping. She went through her closet and tried on a bunch of dresses. We thought the dress she wore last year for the jazz gala was perfect!

The day of the dance we got her ready, her boyfriend doesn’t have his license yet. So he was dropped off and hung out while she finished getting ready.

Then they drove off. She was driving them. They went over to Leora’s house and she was going to call me when they were ready for pictures.

When they were finally ready I went over there and didn’t find a lot of good backdrop options so we went over to the reserve by our house. We took a few pictures of the group.

From there they went to Wendy’s for dinner and then the dance. She said she had a good time. She liked going as a group.

After the dance they all went back to the triplets house and played Just Dance and watched a movie.

These 2 are triplets, the other sister had a date and went with a different group.

They had a photo booth at the dance. Jaelee took full advantage of it and got lots of snaps.
