Jayse decided to play rugby again this year. Last year they barely had enough guys for part of a team. This year they all recruited hard and got enough guys for a full team – including Jaelee’s boyfriend Keynan. He had just finished his wrestling season and went right into rugby.

The team got actually jerseys this year and it seems more organized.

They started with a jamboree. It was for both the boys and girls teams and they each had 2 matches. Jayse’s first match was at 9:40 against Timberline.

I think they did really well. Timberline is a good team and rugby is bigger at that school than ours. They have 3 teams, we barely have 1. Also most of our players are new – this is their first time playing. Timberline also had some much bigger guys. Our team held them though to 2 try’s! And the 2nd one they got literally at the last 2nd. I think they did so good!

Kenzie had a game after Jayse’s so Darin came early and watched Jayse. Jaelee didn’t want to wake up that early so she didn’t go to the first match. Tyler, our nephew also came to the first match. It was COLD!

Jayse is #6. Jaelee’s boyfriend Keynan is #2.

After Jayse’s game we got some hot chocolate and coffee to warm up and we stayed to watch Kenzie’s first match. That girl so so quick and she is a power house. Fun to watch. Her team dominated the other team and made their win look easy. She is #13
