We finally jumped on the paddleboard band wagon and got one. I had been wanting to go out on the boat and try it. I talked Greg into taking the boat out to Black Canyon, it’s a quieter lake and I thought a better place for me to try the paddleboard. The kids didn’t want to go so it was just Greg and I.

We got there and boated out to this area that is sandy and shallow. It’s where I wanted to get out and paddle.

Once we got it aired up and ready to go I gave it a try. I got the hang of it sitting and paddled around a bunch. I couldn’t do my knees or stand. Greg got on it and right away was paddling while standing and holding a beer! Looked like a pro right out the gate.

It was a nice day.
