My moms side of the family had our annual family reunion. This year it was in Melba at my Aunts for one day. We went out there for breakfast. Greg and Jayse left afterwards. I can’t remember what Greg had to do but Jayse had to work.

The rest of us went to a friend of the families who has an indoor pool. We spent the time swimming and eating fresh made fries. It was HOT and HUMID in there. I was struggling. My brothers, Jordan and I decided to go to Melba to show Jordan some of our old stomping grounds.  We ended up at the only bar/restaurant in town and got burgers.

We went back to the swimming pool for a bit but left again to meet everyone back at my Aunts. There we did some family trivia. I loved learning about our family and seeing old pictures of my grandparents.

My aunt also still has my grandmas wedding dress. One of my cousins tried it on but it was so small she couldn’t button it up – never realized how small my grandma was. They also tried on my Aunt’s dress and my cousins. It was fun to see them.

We had a great time.

Someone had this sign in their front yard coming into Melba – I thought it was so funny.

French fries from potatoes pulled that day. It was pretty slick the set up to make these.

My aunt has these gold squirrels that were my grandmas. I love them – she spray painted everything gold.
