Can’t believe another nephew has graduated! Lucius graduated in June but because of all the schedules his party wasn’t until August.
I met Lucius the same Thanksgiving I met much of the family – in 2008. He was such a cute kid and so smart. I seem to remember him with books and drawings pads all the time.
I am so impressed with his art and I can’t wait to see where that takes him.
This is one of my favorite pictures of Lucius from that Thanksgiving.
A couple of pictures from Labor Day weekend the following year.
Now, back to the day.
Love taking creeper pictures of people sleeping, here is Keynan Saturday morning.
Greg and I went with Scott & Carona to the farmers market in Vancouver. It was a lot of fun. I ended up buying a garlic and cheese shredder thing. It’s pretty cool, we’ve used it a couple of times already.
We stopped and picked up a ton of tacos on our way back, then it was back to the house to wait for the party guest.
Once again, I can not believe I didn’t get any pictures of Lucius. Thanks goodness LaRee did. I thought he would be there longer so I took Jaelee and Keynan to Ikea and downtown Portland for a few hours. When I got back Lucius was already gone, darn it!
That evening we all hung out by the fire, it was so nice. Especially nice to be away from the smoke and heat back home.
We enjoyed some grilled peaches with cream and cinnamon. Carona had picked these peaches out at the farmer’s market. Probably some of the best I’ve ever had. Delicoius.
