Greg’s been hiking a lot to get ready for hunting season. He’s asked me a few times to go but hiking is not really high on my list of fun. This particular evening he talked me into it. He said he found one that wasn’t too steep and was fairly easy.

Of course neither of the kids wanted to go. As is the case a lot lately, I think you’ll be seeing a lot of just Greg and I’s faces.

I have to admit it wasn’t bad. We walked about a mile in and then back. It was a beautiful evening with great weather. I don’t think I’ll be moving hiking up on my fun list but I’ll do it again.

We came home and made guacamole for dinner. It’s one of our new favorite things. We finally got a mortal and pestle to make it proper.
