It’s very hard for me to write about this season of football. It was hard. In 10 years of Jayse playing football we’ve never had a season like this. Which is so hard, we were so excited for Jayse to be on varsity and really looked forward to the season.

Our 2nd game of the season was in Eastern Idaho, we had so much smoke in the valley that they moved the game. It is a 4 hour drive so we didn’t go. Bummer to miss a game. The team lost that game 21-3.

The 3rd game was in Eagle. Because our 1st 2 home games were both moved because of smoke we hadn’t seen the marching band yet. They decided to do a performance for parents – the same night as this game. Greg and I decided to split up.

I was able to go to Jayse’s game for the first quarter and then left to go to the marching band performance.

Greg stayed to watch the game where we lost 68-0. Jayse barely got to play.
