For Jaelee’s acting class she had to do a performance. They had to come up with a skit from a movie. They could pick any movie but they had to make it into 10-15 minutes. They had to pick the movie, write the script and perform it. Her group picked the movie the Descendants – it’s about the descendants of all the villain’s in Disney movies.

I volunteered to help ask for donations before the performance so I missed the first few minutes. Sadly, I missed those minutes in my recording. They really help tell the story and set up the characters, bummed I don’t have that but the rest of the performance was great!

Jaelee had spent several nights before the performance on her hoodie. She played 2 characters so she used the hoodie when she was in a different character. She took 3 plain hoodies she got at the craft store, chopped them up and sewed them back together to make a red white and black hoodie.

Jaelee played Carlos – son of Cruella de Vil and Audrey daughter of Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty.

They did really good, as were all the skits. Proud of all those talented kids.

The next night they were performing again. Family was in town so LaRee and I went and watched Jaelee before Jayse’s football game. It was so fun seeing it the 2nd time and getting to see those first few minutes I missed the night before.
