This year I couldn’t seem to get the family in a Christmas spirit. I decorated on my own, set up the tree and decorated it myself, we didn’t do a lot of our traditions – candle light dinners, light viewing, and many others. I did finally whine enough for Greg to have Jayse put up a few lights outside.

We did keep one tradition, the kids got to open one gift on Christmas Eve – the one they got each other. This year they each went out on their own to go shopping. First time Greg and I haven’t taken each one.

They did a good job picking out a gift for the other one.
