Trailer & Property Visit

Once I got everything on my list I made for the trailer we went back out to put it all in. The cushions looked like they’d been scratched by a cat so I got some covers for them. They were pretty cheap on Amazon. I got some cream colored velvet covers for both the dining room seats and the couch.

I got new blinds, the blinds no longer went up and were stained with stuff. We added a TV, it’s an old one we had. We also added a DVD player because I need to be able to watch my Harry Potter at night.

The screen on the screen door had holes so I bought some screen and a kit to replace it. Greg took the door off and after a few errors he got it on. It looks really nice.

We were also able to test the AC and it works! So far everything works, just need to test the water but still waiting until it is warmer out.

After we worked on the trailer Jaelee and Leora met us at Greg’s work and then we all went out to the property. The girls wanted to sled and Greg and I were going to hike.

I used a walking stick last time and it helped so much but I knew it would be better with 2 poles so I bought some cheap trekking poles.

They tried sledding down the road but it didn’t work so well.

We found a hill that looked like a good sledding hill but it was really hard to get up. The snow was deep and at some points it was up to their waist. They did make it up but then it looked pretty steep from up there and they got scared. They both went down but I don’t think they ever made it fully to the bottom.

After watching the girls attempt to sled I went hiking. They were cold and got in the car.

I made it up further then I had been before. The trekking poles and spikes on my boats really helped. I was very proud of myself. But then on the way down I slipped, rolled my ankle and rolled down the hill a bit. I knew right away I sprained my ankle it hurt pretty bad. I just laid on the ground whining and yelling for someone. Greg was still hiking and the girls couldn’t hear me. I decided I better get up. I had bent one of my trekking poles on the fall but straightened it out enough to use. Luckily I had them or I wouldn’t of made it anywhere. I used the poles and hobbled my way down the hill. I fell again and just sat there. At that moment I heard something behind me. Thank goodness it was Greg. He helped me down the rest of the way. I made him take an usie with me before we finished.

Greg had been up to the property a few times with out us. He went hiking with a friend and checked the trail cameras he’s put up. Here’s some picture she took and some from the cameras. We already got a moose! Can’t wait to see one in person. I told Greg I want a photography tent/tree house to get pictures of some of these animals.
