For band they have a competition called D3. They perform in front of judges, they have to do specific pieces that help them get better in different ways. They include a march, a lyrical and a song of choice – from a list provided by the competition. I remembered to get a screenshot of the music!

Before their performance in front of the judges during school they do a performance for friends and family. So nice so we can hear the music.

I got to use my new lens, love how the pictures turned out. However, I did it for video and I couldn’t hold the dang thing still. Gonna need to bring a tripod next time. I made it through one song but switched to my phone for video after that.

This Cruel Moon by John Mackey – this one was a little slow for me but still good. The band director Mrs. Brings said that she’d been wanting to play this one for years. Jaelee said she teared up. Love how much Mrs. Brings loves music.

Rapture by Brian Balmages – LOVE this one. I accidently hit stop on my recording and had to hurry and start a new video, so this one is in 2 pieces.
