After I went and took pictures with my friend I headed out to our property. Greg and spent the night out there and I wanted to see him. Darin and Cole were out there as well helping clear areas and burn slash piles.
It’s amazing what a difference a week makes. There was much less snow this week then the one prior. Greg and Darin had made a lot of progress. A lot of debris was cut down, more trees and the pile Jaelee and I had made the prior week was burnt and a new pile started.
I stayed for a bit, mostly just chilling and talking with Darin as he burned more of the piles. When Darin and Cole left Greg and I went into town and ate dinner at the Gold Miner. He looked so tired yet so blissfully happy.
I didn’t stay the night, I drove home after dinner. Greg stayed, however.
The next day I came back with the kids. We brought some lunch. Worked for a few hours and then we all headed home.

Collecting poles for different uses.

On our way to dinner we stopped at the creek for Greg to do a quick rinse shower. BURR, the water was so cold.
