Celebrating Mya & Adonis

Mya and Adonis were married the year before in a civil ceremony. They had a celebration/wedding this year. It was in the woods just outside of Council. About a 2.5 hour drive from our place. We left Saturday and drove straight there. They had given a an easy map to follow and had signs posted so we found it no problem. Mya said she had been camping up there for 3 weeks prior getting everything ready. I believe most of the guests had camped out there the night before to help get food prepared and finish the last details.

They did a really nice job setting everything up. Chairs were lined up with a sand walkway to a wood and antler archway. Baby’s breath was near the chairs along the walkway. It was going to be pretty warm that day so we found seats pretty quickly on the shaded side.

Adonis’ little brothers came out first with Mya and Adonis’ dog. It was so cute! Then some really adorable little girls. Finally May escorted by her sister Kenzie and brother Cole. It was very sweet. The ceremony was pretty short but beautiful. Afterwards they walked back down the aisle with bubbles being blown at them.

After the ceremony it was time to eat. They had a huge buffet of delicious food. Then it was time for cake, and dancing. We decided to leave after the dances. It was a really beautiful afternoon and they looked so happy.

Jaelee got to keep one of the bubble guns. She tried it out as soon as we got home.
