Greg missed a weekend up at the property since we were in Oregon. He couldn’t wait to get back out there. I was taking pictures for a friend’s daughters graduation so I couldn’t go up there until later Saturday. He had been up there with an excavator making the pad for our tiny cabin larger. While doing that he found piping from the aqueduct right where we planed to build. That was such an awesome find!
I got up there Saturday evening. I was hoping I’d be able to get pictures of the milkway. Greg knew of a spot up higher in the mountains he thought would be a good place to get a view of the sky. Sadly it ended up being pretty cloudy so no stars or milkway but we had a beautiful sunset.

Don’t know why but I like the craggily roots from this tree.

Greg and I went for a walk along the creek. We found a spot we thought we could clear to get to the creek better.

We had to go into town for gas and the sunset was already really pretty.

I wanted a chainsaw bear for our property. When we were in Oregon Greg and I went shopping for one. We got this little bear in downtown Reedsport. Turns out the chainsaw artisan was someone Greg went to high school with called Beef.
