Greg and Darin went up to the property for the weekend. I met them up there Friday night. I left Saturday morning. On my way out I saw a wild turkey. We’ve seen a lot of turkeys but I haven’t been able to get a picture. I managed to get one with my cell as I was driving.

On Saturday Darin worked on falling trees and clearing an area he wants to build a tiny cabin on. Our friend Dave came up and him and Greg went on a ride. Greg also had an excavator up there and he worked on enlarging our pad. He had to break out more rock.

On Sunday they guys continued to work and Jaelee and I drove to Payette to go paddleboarding with my friends on the Payette River. We brought lunch with us again and managed to make a sandwich on our paddleboards. We are getting good at this! I still need to try standing though. We had a good time. It took us a couple of hours to float down the river.

We’ve had some pretty cool birds at the property. In the center you can see a bright bird. I’ve seen several of these. They are really bright yellow and orange.

My friend Jamie has a new kitten we got to play with.
