Another weekend another one spent at the property. Greg and Darin went to the property to start setting up the sawmill. We decided to set it up on the pad we want to build on. That way when we mill the wood it will be right where we need it to build. Later we can move the sawmill. We are not sure where that will be yet.

I met my friend Jamie and her brother Aaron in town. They followed me to the property. We walked around and then decided to go on a hike up to the aqueduct and the center road. I had bought some new hiking boots and they were fantastic! I wasn’t slipping around, I didn’t get sores, they were light and my feet never got hot. We walked around the whole road and then made our way back down.

We had lunch and then I took her and her brother on a ride in the ranger. We rode the lower rode and I took them by the creek. We found wild raspberries or as I later found out thimbleberries.

Then I took her and Aaron on the same trail Greg took me on to see the Idaho City Valley. I had only been on it the one time Greg took me. I ended up taking 2 wrong turns but realized it pretty quick and got back on the trail. I*t was a lot of fun.

Afterwards Jamie and her brother left and I stayed to hang out with Greg. Him and Darin were putting the sawmill together and ran into a few issues. They ended up going into town to by some lumber to put together to put the mill on. I hung out and played solitaire while I waited for them to come back.

We had dinner together (burgers, yumm) and then I headed home.

On Sunday while Greg and Darin were working on the sawmill they had a neighbor come up to talk to them. Which happens often. In fact I think we’ve talked to and had more drama out there then at our place in Boise. This neighbor told us that one of our friends was at our property the previous weekend and he really offended him. We knew our friend had been there as he had called us after the fact and told us. He was in the area with his wife and just wanted to show her the property. Anyway, long story short this neighbor threatened us and said his wife worked for the Idaho State Police and he could have them there at any time. He said he also worked at the airport with a lot of Samoans and they could come and put us in the hospital! I just could not believe it, I still can’t. Luckily, Greg kept it cool. We knew the neighbor was going through something so he chalked it up to that but I don’t think it excuses threatening. Let’s hope things don’t escalate.
