Jaelee had marching band camp for 2 weeks. This year they were going from 8 to 8 most days! Those kids put in some time I tell you. New this year at the end of camp they decided to do a preview of the first part of the show. We got to go to the stadium to watch. First they warmed up, each group of instrument doing a exercise with their instruments. Then the parents went out on the field to learn some marching band forms. It seems as though Jaelee thought Greg was learning it better then I was. She kept telling me I was doing it wrong. That’s ok I was fine just taking pictures of them together. Greg did pretty well…..even though I had to give him the you better do this face before we went down there. Ha!

After we learned some marching we went back into our seats and they did the first part of the show. I just love when they have a big moment when all the band comes in. I couldn’t help myself and started crying. Tears just streaming down my face. I have loved band so much. It’s hard knowing this is the last year 😦 Soaking up as much as I can. Hope Jaelee is too.
