We had our first varsity game at Owyhee. They are a new school but have really done well building their football team so we figured this would be a tough game.

There were a lot of fans in attendance was unique, usually for an away game there are not a lot of people on our side. Even our fan section was huge and we had a mascot. I don’t think we’ve had someone in the mascot suite since the kids have been in high school. It really felt like this year was going to be different.

Sadly, we lost 42-6. Our starting running back was injured in the 2nd quarter. Jayse got to play quit a bit – which was good for us. I was really hoping they’d do a little better but at least I got to see Jayse play a lot.
