This year we had an early band concert. Typically the marching band practices during class and after school but this year because they had an early band concert they only practiced after school and during class they worked on the music for this first band concert.

It was a combined concert with Eagle high school. Eagle performed 2 songs and then we performed 2. Then they did a song together combined. During the combined performance they had Phil Hartman conduct. He was the band director at Centennial for 30 years I believe – he is still a big part of the band scene around here.

I loved the 2nd song they did. It was a Viking song. It was so good.
