We didn’t do much for Labor Day weekend. My brother and his wife came over for a bbq.
Made some homemade pizza with marinara I made from tomatoes from our garden.
Greg’s garden gave us lots of veggies.
Made stuffed bell peppers with peppers from the garden.
Homemade chili and cornbread. My first time ever making cornbread. It was alright, kinda dry and crumbly.
I went to a farmers market at Indian Creek with some friends. We had some good food, listened to some live music and bought some fun stuff from vendors.
Saw this wild bunny in our yard.
I went to a gourd festival. My friend is a member of the gourd club and has started to make some really amazing and creative things with gourds. They had a festival with lots of vendors so I went down there to check it out. It was a lot of fun. I even got to see the gourd parade. Pretty amazing what you can make with a gourd. Wish I would of taken some pictures of some of the items she’d made.
Jaelee’s boyfriend asked her to homecoming with this cute sign. Jayse and his girlfriend decided not to go.
While Jaelee and I were home we heard an ice cream truck. Even though it was raining we had to run and find it and get us a little treat. It’s been years since we’ve seen a truck in our neighborhood.
Pretty sky from the hot tub.
Green beans from Greg’s garden.

Made a potato sausage green bean dish with them.

Greg and I volunteered to help with the band, we ended u sitting around for 2 hours. Greg found himself a seat.

Side dish all with veggies from Greg’s garden.
