We were able to go to Oregon for the week of Thanksgiving again this year. We left on Saturday and drove the full way, getting there Saturday evening. I wanted to make the week as easy as possible so the week prior I had prepped dinner meals for the whole week. I made frozen pizzas, a mac and cheese casserole, big mac sloppy joes, brought everything for tacos and chili. I was cooking 2 and three meals the week before but it sure made the next week so nice. Having dinner done and just needing to heat it up.
Sunday we just had a chill day, Greg went hunting.
Monday Greg was hunting again. Jaelee, LaRee and I made it to the beach for a beautiful sunset. It was so nice, barely any wind. In Jaelee fashion she got in the water. She was taking these beautiful pictures of the waves in the water with the sunset. We had a great time. Even went up to the lighthouse as it was getting dark. It was decorated in Christmas lights.
As we left our house Saturday morning, just down the hill from our house Jaelee yelled out that she saw some deer. We reversed and pulled over. Sure enough there was a couple of deer on the hillside. I snapped a couple of pictures and we hit the road.
We had to get big foots on Monday! The price of these have sky rocketed. I think they were $7 a piece now! So we savored these and didn’t get them again.
Jaelee’s phone battery was low so she took my phone to keep taking pictures. She took this picture of herself so we’d know that after it was her photos.
When she was done, I took this picture to know the photos after were mine. I wasn’t going to get in the water like Jaelee so I was taking more of a wide approach.
Jaelee found a whole sand dollar. We’ve looked at shells for years and only ever found partial or broken ones.
The clouds all around were this beautiful pink color.
