Christmas Eve we made it out to our property. It rained the entire time. Greg took some of the group up to the top, my sister, brother and I hiked up to the center area to the road up there. We walked along it – I showed them the property boundaries, views and some of our plans.

We didn’t stay out there too long after hiking because it was raining and there’s not much to do in the rain. We headed into Idaho City and got some lunch at Gold Miner. After lunch we headed home.

For dinner that evening we made homemade chicken noodle soup. A tradition in my sisters family for Christmas Eve. It was delicious.

We let the kids open their gifts to each other. They all got legos.
