After Greg’s beard incident he didn’t get the steel up he wanted to so Jayse and I went up with him a few weeks later to help. I mostly wanted to see snow. We’ve had the mildest winter ever here. We had record low snow levels. Sadly, there wasn’t much snow up at our property either – but I got to see some.

Jayse and Greg installed the steel braces he’d made so he can put more weight on the structure and use it to wench logs up onto the sawmill.

It was a bit cold so Greg started a fire and I kept it maintained while the guys worked on getting the braces on. It was a nice day.
