Oregon Day 2

As soon as we were all up and ready Greg had us heading out on the boat to go crabbing.   There were already a bunch of crab boats and pots out in the water.  We crabbed for a while getting only a few crab.  The kids really do not like the crab and stay as far away as they can.  LaRee was at the beach with all the other kids so we dropped off Jaelee and Jayse to play at the beach and Greg, his dad and I went back out on the boat crabbing.  I saw a few sea lions and tried really hard to get pictures but was not successful.

We crabbed for a while until we reached our limit and met LaRee and the kids back at the house.

LaRee, Jaelee and I snuck away to Winchester for Art by the Bay.  There were booths of art, food & jewelry.  I had fun looking at everything.   While Jaelee was looking at some mushrooms made from melted PVC a photographer from the paper took her picture and she ended up in the weekly paper The Umpqua Post.  Here’s her picture from the paper. You can see the full article here.

All the kids were jumping on the trampoline having so much fun wrestling and playing with each other.  I had each kid smash their face on the trampoline netting to get a smashed face picture.  I just love seeing all the cousins play together.

After dinner we went back to the beach to hang out by a fire, crab of course and eat smores.  A great way to spend Saturday night.
