Christmas Eve

This year for Christmas we laid low and stayed home.  Christmas Eve was a pretty chill day.  Christmas Eve Greg had left early in the morning to go duck hunting.  Jaelee woke up really early and came and got in bed with me.  I had to duck out of my room for a bit and came back to bed.  When Jayse woke up he saw what Dori our elf had done to their hall and rooms.  Smart little missy tried to say I had done it while I left the room but was able to be convinced that it was Dori.

When Greg got back from hunting we let the kids each open a present.  Greg said it was their family tradition to open the presents they had got each other, so that’s what we let the kids do.  We had taken each of them to the store to pick out a present for each other and that was the gift they opened.  Jaelee got Jayse a monster truck and Jayse got Jaelee a little princess table.  They both loved their gifts.  After opeingi gifts Jaelee and I headed to the store to get ingredients to make a whole bunch of cookies and treats.  We spent most of the afternoon making cookies and buck eye balls.  I didn’t get a picture of everything we made but it was a lot!  We got a plate ready and drove over to the kids daycare to bring them a plate of goodies.

Then it was home and off to bed to wait for Santa.IMG_0102 IMG_0103 IMG_0105 IMG_0107 IMG_0108 IMG_0109 IMG_0110 IMG_0112 IMG_0113 IMG_0115 IMG_0116 IMG_0118 IMG_0120 IMG_0121
