Art in the Park

Every year Boise has an event in the park with lots of art & craft booths.  I love to go and look at it all.  This year on the same day that we had decided to go there was also a Boise State football game.  The park and the stadium are not far from each other so I knew parking would be crazy.  For the first time I decided to take the shuttle.  A bus picks you up at the mall and shuttles you down to the park.  Jaelee and I were meeting my friend down there.  We parked at the small and didn’t have to wait long before a bus was there to pick us up.

She was SO excited about getting to ride a bus for the first time.  I think that was the highlight of the whole day for her.  The shuttle was so nice.  We didn’t have to fight traffic downtown and find a place to park only to walk a mile to the park.  We hoped on the bus and it dropped us off right at the main entrance.  I will definitely be doing this every year from here on out.

When we got there Jaelee was able to make a painting for her self.  While it hung on a line to dry we walked around the rest of the park.  She got a free hat from Geico, a cookie from my friend and met a giant dog.  It was a lot of fun. I really enjoy looking at the art.

When it was time to leave we just had to go where the shuttle dropped us off and we hoped righto n another one and headed back to our car.  It was great.  While on the bus a couple with their kids asked if we wanted a bag of cotton candy, they said they had an extra one.  We accepted and Jaelee was so excited about it.  When we got home Jaelee had to brag to Jayse that she got to ride a bus and got free cotton candy.
