Woo Hoo!  I’ve made it to the current year at least.

On January 1st the kids and I went down to see my mom in Utah.  We wanted to spend New Years Eve with Greg to ring in the New Year so we left early New Years Day.  We were only able to stay a couple of days because Greg’s birthday was on the 3rd and we wanted to be back for that.

I rented a hotel room in Salt Lake City and the kids thought that was one of coolest things ever.  They loved staying in the hotel.  Once we were checked in we headed to my moms.  She doesn’t live far from Salt Lake City so it was a quick drive to her house.  At my moms the kids were able to open their Christmas presents from her.  They each got a new outfit and had to put them on immediately.  Then we had dinner with her and her husband and then headed back to our hotel for the night.

The next morning we woke up and had breakfast at the hotel.  Then we got ready and headed up to my Aunt and Uncles to visit them and my brother.  We thought we were going to go snowmobiling but my brother didn’t feel very good so we didn’t go but my Uncle took the kids out on his razor around his property.  It was only like 20 degrees out so it was freezing it must of been so cold riding around in the snow but they didn’t want to stop!  My Uncle was a good sport though and took them around a lot of times doing donuts and jumping hills.   We then came in and warmed up for a bit.  The lighting was so pretty in their house I tried to get some pictures of the kids but they were so excited that they didn’t want to sit.  They were busy running around the house and playing my Aunts piano.

After hanging out at their house for a bit we went back down to my moms.  There Jaelee wanted to do crafts so her and my mom made a purse and blanket.  Then we had dinner and watched a movie before heading back to our hotel.

Saturday morning we got up and had breakfast at the hotel again.  We then went back to my moms before heading home to celebrate Greg’s birthday with him.
