Jaelee and I both love Owls.  My brother had told me that you could see live owls on fence posts  along a road in Kuna.  So one night at about 11 Jaelee and I hopped into the car and headed to the road.  It was really dark and we drove really slow and sure enough about 8 minutes into our drive we spotted an owl on a fence post.  We were able to drive fairly close to it and shine the car lights on it to get a picture and light it up.  After that we were pumped up.  We drove the entire length of the road and it was pretty long and we only saw another one flying away.  As we headed back we saw another one on a fence post and were able to stop and watch it and get a picture.

On our way back we had made up this whole skit we were going to do.  We were going to tell Jayse and Greg we didn’t see any and we even practiced our sad faces.

However, when we got home they had gone to sleep.  We hadn’t even noticed but it had taken us over an hour to make the drive on the road.  We were sad we couldn’t do our fake out and were still pretty excited about seeing owls so we kinda might of woke Greg up and he was none to happy about it.  We had a great time though and it was so fun sharing that with my daughter.
